Gett, formerly known as GetTaxi, is a global transportation service platform focused on simplifying urban travel. To elevate their website and app’s visual appeal and user experience, I developed a cohesive suite of illustrations, icons, and interface elements.
Challenge
Creating visuals that reflect Gett’s global presence and diverse audience while ensuring consistency across digital platforms. Additionally, depicting the cab in two localized versions—British and American—was key to resonating with users in different markets.
Solution
I crafted a set of bespoke illustrations and icons tailored for Gett’s website and mobile app. The cab depictions were thoughtfully designed in two styles:
- British Version: Highlighting iconic black cabs familiar to the UK audience.
- American Version: Featuring yellow taxis synonymous with urban life in the United States.
The designs maintained a clean, modern aesthetic that aligned with Gett’s brand identity, balancing functionality with creativity to enhance user interaction.
Impact
- Enhanced Localization: Dual cab versions improved relatability for regional audiences.
- Consistent Design Language: The unified visuals reinforced brand identity across platforms.
- Improved User Engagement: The engaging and intuitive elements contributed to a smoother and more appealing user experience.
