Project
A unified visual system for the Royal Bank of Canada — integrating iconography, illustration, and animation to enhance internal tools and mobile banking experiences.
Role
I led the design and execution of a cohesive visual language for RBC, spanning icon systems, illustrations, and animations across internal platforms and the mobile app. My work supported product clarity, brand alignment, and user engagement across multiple touchpoints.
Challenge
RBC sought to modernize the visual experience of its internal systems and mobile banking app. The challenge was to create a comprehensive, brand-aligned visual system that was scalable, intuitive, and emotionally engaging — covering everything from rewards program icons to in-app animations.
Iconography
I designed a set of scalable, intuitive icons for RBC’s internal rewards platform. Each icon was crafted to balance brand alignment and usability — improving clarity and efficiency across key interfaces.
Illustration
To bring the rewards platform to life, I created a series of branded illustrations representing a diverse set of user benefits. These visuals helped reinforce reward themes and added warmth and approachability to RBC’s internal communications.
Animation
I developed a set of short animations for RBC’s mobile banking app to showcase features such as ID scanning, biometric login, and money transfers. Each animation was designed to increase clarity and drive user adoption through friendly, intuitive motion.
